We are Andy and Kate White. We live in Worcester, right in the heart of England, with our 2 children and two loopy Flat Coated Retrievers, Jess and Inca. We met at the age of 16 and got married in 1995, making Worcester our home. Inbetween then and now we found ourselves in Coventry for 5 years and Kidderminster for 7. But deep down we always loved Worcester.
We are Independent Distributors for Forever Living Products, having been converted to Aloe Vera after trying the Gel drinks for a while.
We have been on quite a journey over the last few years, and now we find ourselves taking a new direction – a direction we have always wanted to take, if we are honest, but never quite had the courage. Events forced our hand, and we can honestly say that, as hard as it was at the time, we are so glad they did, because now we have a realistic chance of living the life we want to live rather than the life we have had to live.
A BIG LIFE!!
A little about Andy:
I am a chartered accountant by trade, as well as a PRINCE2 practitioner (Project Manager); I spent my time in accountancy practicing corporate restructuring, corporate recovery and corporate finance. In 2002 I finally escaped and went to work at a Drug Rehab centre as a business manager. One thing led to another and I found myself in a Finance role at an Executive Agency of a government department, until I eventually migrated into that organisation’s Project Management function. If I am honest, I have spent my entire working life doing stuff I hated, trapped by bills and a fear of taking a risk; until now. Now, for the first time since 1993, when I left University, I can honestly say I am excited about work!
I love all things Apple Mac, football (Liverpool FC), rugby (Worcester Warriors), motorsport, music of all sorts of genres, movies, and gadgets in general. Most of all I love my family, and what Forever has given me is the chance to finally start being the Dad and Husband I have always wanted to be.
A little about Kate:
I have worked in a number of roles, having studied to be a chartered secretary after leaving University. My heart always lay in being a Mum, and in 1998 I left the workplace to become a full time mum when our daughter was born. That was harder work than any job could ever throw up, but being able to be at home was brilliant. We were fortunate enough to be in a position that I could stay at home when our son was born 2 years later. However, once the children started school I needed to get out and start earning some money, but I also needed to be able to fit it in around the children. At the time I thought school-based work was my only option, so I became a teaching assistant. Just like Andy with his job, though, my heart wasn’t in it, so when events forced a change I found Forever Living, shared it with Andy and the rest, as they say, is history.
I love being creative, walking, movies and entertaining friends and family. Forever has opened the door for me to pursue my interests, be a mum and earn money all at the same time, working when I choose and in the way I choose – and just like Andy, I am really excited about the future!
A little about the Big Life:
So why ‘Live a Big Life’, you may be wondering? Well, simply put, we love seeing people reach their potential, we love helping people to live the life they were made for, and we love helping others to reach their dreams. For us, a full life, with dreams realised and potential fulfilled is a Big Life; that is why we se to Live a Big Life.
